How to Break Through Her Ice Shield ...

I live in Los Angeles, where the women at the clubs are stuck up (unless you happen to be a famous actor, or your band is on MTV). I don’t work in the entertainment business. I’m a regular guy with a regular job.

What’s the best strategy for trying to pick up girl in a scene like this?

First of all, Sean, we need to correct your mindset.

You used the words 'stuck up' to describe all the girls in the clubs you go to.

We hear this from guys all the time. A girl blows them off, so they assume she’s 'stuck up.' The guy makes it sound like HE is doing everything right, but SHE has the attitude problem…

Because here’s the reality:

When a woman blows you off, it’s usually because YOU failed to engage her interest.

It probably means you were sending out the wrong signals. Her “female radar” was picking up on RED FLAGS that turned her off… and you probably had no idea you were doing anything wrong!

Sean, you’re going to need to adhere to The Alpha Rules to establish a confident mindset for approaching and attracting women… including the hot women in the nightclubs who’ve got their “bitch shields” turned up to full power.

You have to realize that beautiful women are never negatively impacted by this behavior, so she has no incentive to discontinue it.

These shields serve a purpose: Get rid of all the low-self-confidence chumps as quickly as possible. Because - to her - it feels like an endless mambo line of dorks and drips.

You’ve got to keep in mind that ANY attractive woman has multiple men approaching her on a daily basis and trying to throw game at her.

If she’s out at a club, the numbers can get ridiculous. She could easily get approached a dozen times a night… and send a dozen guys scurrying back to their geek squads with their tails between their legs.

Women have developed a defense mechanisms - and a shortcut - to cope with the constant parade of men—many of them boring, over-eager or just plain obnoxious—who come at them.

They’ve got their rejection lines ready to go, the MOMENT they detect that the guy lacks confidence and charisma.

HIM: Hey, what’s your name?
HER: I have a boyfriend.

HIM: Can I buy you a drink?
HER: Thanks, but I’m not interested.

Or, the timeless classic…

HIM: Do you come here often?
HER: I need to go find my friends.

Look, when you use a cliché opener, you’re inviting a cliché rejection. This is why it’s critical for you to come at her with original “hooks” to capture her attention, and then drop “anchors” to keep her interested and wanting to know more about you.

You only need her to give you the opportunity to engage her. Once she lowers her defenses, even for thirty seconds, that’s when you can build a connection with her and guide it towards your desired outcome.
